One Call Insurance implements SMS breakdown service for Deaf customers

Another great result to report One Call Insurance has listened to the complaints of Deaf customer Suzie Jones who complained of deaf discrimination when arranging car insurance. They have sorted out her car insurance and immediately implemented an SMS contact number for Deaf/Hard of hearing customers contacting their breakdown service. A move that benefits everyone. Pesky People successes

We are a newly formed company led by Disabled people (Director Alison Smith). Alison has 17+ years experience working in the cultural sector and now works as a freelance arts consultant. Pesky People was set up as a direct response to the Digital Britain report and its exclusion of Disabled and Deaf people. The power of the web

How do you reach the widest audience? How do you make people sit up and take notice? Just use digital platforms such as Twitter. The future is NOT orange

Hello world … this is my first blog. I’m red – fierce red, furious at ORANGE – they HATE their disabled and deaf customers. The Orange Shop in Telford Shopping Centre mis-sold me a HTC Touch Diamond phone on a 24 month contract last Wed (26th Aug 09).
