Deaf Digital inclusion is meaningless without real action (and money)
Today sees the launch of the new e-accessibility guidelines by the coalition government at an event in London I’m hoping that they will begin to address the issues I’m raising below. Calling us ‘the disabled’ is not a good starting point!

Pesky People successes
We are a newly formed company led by Disabled people (Director Alison Smith). Alison has 17+ years experience working in the cultural sector and now works as a freelance arts consultant.
Pesky People was set up as a direct response to the Digital Britain report and its exclusion of Disabled and Deaf people. It continues to campaign about the need for full accessibility to websites, digital content and products.

Hello Digital : Digital Disaster
On Wed 21st September I attended the Hello Digital Conference part of Digital Birmingham’s Digital Festival along with loads of others. It was packed. Judging by the twitter feeds for #HD09 everyone had a fantastic time
