What people are saying on twitter about #subtitlesnow
The support for #subtitles now has been fantastic. Not only has it reached over 14,629 twitter accounts it’s really showing that we deafies are totally missing out in the digital revolution of video and audio.
In a mater of hours we have a team of admins working with the Subtitles Now FB group who have been brilliant (thank you Suzie Jones).

BBC response to complaint about DJ Sara Cox’s twitter comments
The BBC responded to my complaint about Sara Cox’s comments towards subtitles being shown at an English language screening of Bridemaids. It arrived at just after midnight this morning.

It is a fantastic result for Samantha and will not only...

Dr Who Experience
Guest post by Samantha
UPDATE – Monday 16th May 2011: It took no time for the BBC to respond to Samantha after Pesky People alerted them to her blog post about her visit Dr Who Experience in April.
Samantha is delighted at the response from Philip Fleming, Head of Communications, Global Brands, BBC Worldwide
It is well worth taking the time to read Philip Fleming’s response in full as it shows that it is worth letting a company know...
