How the social media surgeries helped Pesky People

East Coast Trains – a result
Pesky People is pleased to say that East Coast Trains have emailed us today to confirm they are updating their assisted travel booking system after our intervention on Tuesday.
They are going to address complaints from David Colley who has found himself booked on diesel trains (which have doors too narrow for him to board) with his electric wheelchair. Unbelievably it’s all down to 10mm of door space between the old train carriages and...

Interview with Jim in The Morning (Radio Shropshire)
There’s not often a chance meeting with people that involves being interviewed for radio but that is exactly what happened last Monday (11th July 2010).

Go Genie wins £25,000 investment at NOKIA’s ‘Pitch n Win’
It’s been quite action packed from Interactivsm in London and now the news that Go Genie won the ‘Pitch n Win’ investment award from NOKIA at the Zellig building in the Custard Factory in Birmingham on 30th June 2010.
It was a fierce competition and Pesky People was lucky enough to be shortlisted to be one of eight companies presenting a 10 mins pitch with 10 mins of questioning. They booked BSL interpreters for me and my presentation...
