Motorpoint Arena Cardiff – where attitude is everything
UPDATE: R has emailed us (7.30pm) to tell us he has been given a disabled/carer’s pass and hope he now enjoys return visits to Motorpoint Arena! A record we only blogged about this 3 hours ago…
We were contacted by a disabled music fan (who we will call R) based in Cardiff who asked if we could help sort out why he had not heard back from CIA/Motorpoint Arena regarding his appeal to be re-accepted for a Disabled / Carer’s pass....

BBC Responds to Doctor Who Celebration Access Complaints
Hello everyone, Samantha again.
After the difficulties getting tickets for the Doctor Who Celebration 50th anniversary convention I experienced on Monday, Alison of Pesky People contacted the BBC. Dealing with the matter was passed to the Communications Officer for BBC Worldwide, Chris Hicks. We also passed on yesterday’s storify, which collated tweets showing the extent of the problem for disabled fans, and passed on another three complaints...

Doctor Who De Ja Vu update
Following on from Samantha’s post yesterday Doctor Who De Ja Vu there was an avalache of tweets showing that many other disabled people were facing similar problems in their attempts to secure tickets for the sold out Doctor Who oficial 50th Celebration.
The BBC have promptly agreed to investigate and address issues raised by Samatha as well as those we have passed on from twitter and emails we received. The event is being run by Single Market...
